Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide direct patient care by preparing patients for treatment, taking medical histories, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with health regulations and data protection standards. Confidently communicate with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide post-treatment care instructions. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction and adherence to treatment plans. Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and work areas in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Collaborate with the dental team to improve processes and enhance patient experiences.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Excellent communication abilities in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Previous experience as a dental nurse essential. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
