Qualified Dental Nurse
Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a Full time Qualified Dental Nurse to join our private practice in Beaumont Street. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is a team player, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Role includes:
Assisting dentists in carrying out dental procedures
Caring and supporting patients in their needs
Providing advice to patients, providing aftercare help, and aiding patients in regular dental services.
Decontamination and sterilisation of instruments and clinical areas
Maintaining logs
Assisting in maintenance, auditing and compliance checks
Learning and development portfolio and subject to regular appraisals
Taking part in regular team meetings
Maintaining premises, equipment and surfaces in a clean, safe hygienic environment
Maintaining patient confidentiality
Maintaining efficiencies within the practice
Abiding by all legislations and practice policies
What skills do you need?
Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with colleagues, clinical professionals, customers and management. Initiative to continually improve Good decontamination and cross-infection awareness.
