Overview

Due to growth we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic services. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dental team in delivering exceptional care while maintaining a welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients and team members, fostering a collaborative environment. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and appointment management efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Nurse ideally with orthodontic experience however not essential Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills are essential to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for patient care and the ability to work well within a team are vital attributes for success in this role. Knowledge of Systems for Dentists software (preferred however training will be given) post qualifications in Radiography, Impression taking, Orthodontic Nursing (preferred but not essential)

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
