Are you a compassionate and skilled dental nurse looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team on a 31-hour basis in the UK.

Position: Qualified Dental Nurse

Hours : 31 hours per week, Including a half day on a Tuesday and a 3pm finish on a Friday

Location: 74 Springfield road Dental Practice, Belfast BT12 7AH

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, providing chairside support and ensuring patient comfort.

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.

Provide patient education and oral hygiene instruction.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Prepare materials and equipment for dental procedures.

Maintain stock levels and order supplies as needed.

Assist with reception duties, including greeting patients and scheduling appointments.

Requirements:

Qualified Dental Nurse with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC). Willing to accept a trainee Dental Nurse on a current relevant course.

Previous experience working in a busy surgery.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Knowledge of dental software systems preferred.
