Currently, the organization is seeking a skilled and committed Purchasing and Expediting Administrator to join its team and contribute to ongoing success.

Requirements:

  • Perform various administrative duties while adhering to established procedures, policies, instructions, and guidelines, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Support the buyer in weekly ordering for indirect purchases and warehouse stock, stepping in when necessary for critical purchases.
  • Assist the buyer in compiling information and documenting component category plans and supply chain risk assessments.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics with subcontract suppliers, ensuring efficient material movement tracking.
  • Process stock requests and address daily invoice and warehouse queries.
  • Participate in data cleanse and input activities to prepare for the launch of the ERP system.
  • Generate monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) and external indices for board reports.
  • Manage the shared purchasing inbox daily.
  • Update supplier master data in the system as requested by the buyer or expeditor.
Create and file documents electronically as needed.

Skills/Experience:
  • Previous experience in an administration role is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general IT literacy.
  • Basic experience with MRP/ERP systems would be beneficial, although not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in communication via email, in-person, and on the phone.
