Job Description


Our client is looking for a Purchaser for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process requisitions, purchase orders and onboard deliveries within the boundaries of the procurement systems and Power of Attorney Matrix.
  • Interact and support the organisation with regards to invoice processing related to purchase orders as and when required.
  • Assist the technical department with systematic stock keeping and warehouse management onboard the vessel.
  • Assist the technical department ensuring minimum and maximum stock is managed for onboard items in the management system.
  • Adhere to provide feedback on the company\'s policies, objectives, plans and procedures.
  • Adhere to requirements, both internal and external, of which the company\'s performance is of relevance.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years of studies at college / university.
  • Fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Relevant experience from shipping, agent, logistical / freight forwarding, warehouse or ship management is preferable.
