Job Description




Purchase Ledger Clerk required in Bridgwater, TA6. This is a 12 month, fixed term contract

  • \xc2\xa325,000 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 (1 hour lunch break) Fridays 08:00 - 14:00
  • Hours can be flexible around school pick up / drop off
  • Walking distance from town centre, accessible by bus 21, 21a or free parking on site
About the role
  • Receiving and reviewing invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Post to ledgers.
  • Liaise with internal purchasing team to resolve queries on invoices
  • Ensure complete and accurate filing
  • Banking, expense claim reviews and processing
The right candidate
  • Experience working in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all organisational levels.
