Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as an Purchase Ledger Assistant. The successful candidate will have excellent numerical skills, strong attention to detail, and experience in an administrative role.

LOCATION: Full time within our Wembley Office.



Key Responsibilities



Stamp and code large volume of supplier invoices Post them on the system daily Matching invoice with purchase order Experience and skills required Requesting Supplier statements and produce supplier reconciliation on a daily basis Receiving supplier calls and responding appropriately Attach recharges to x-hire supplier invoices correctly Update and maintain the supplier contacts on Opera regularly Send out suspension letters during Christmas and the year for bank holiday notification Assist in preparing weekly payments as required Preparing payments for authorisation via BACS Email remits promptly Dealing & resolving with all supplier queries and/or disputes Supporting during the year end audit Reviewing procedures and processes to identify improvement opportunities. Filing of cleared invoices and maintaining the system Competent IT skills with good knowledge of Excel Can work on own initiative and as part of a team Interpersonal, communication and teamworking skills Strong attention to detail Construction background would be advantage but not necessary
