Purchase Ledger Administrator



Purpose of the Job



Working as part the finance team processing purchase ledger

Managing supplier accounts

Duties & Responsibilities



Management of the Purchase Ledger

Post all purchase invoices and credit notes

Reconcile supplier statements

Manage and prepare supplier payment runs

Deal with all supplier queries

Expedite any short and missing supplier deliveries with the Purchasing Department

Processing all credit card and cash expenses

Managing all credit card balance limits and transaction queries

Produce Weekly payment runs

Review supplier Non-Conformance Returns for Credit Notes

Review all none manufacturing open purchase orders

Cross Functional support where required.

Essential Skills



Background in Purchase Ledger

Strong administrator with experience in ERP systems

An understanding of general accounts procedures

Ability to work as part of a small team

Focussed on providing a high standard of service to external customers

Month end reporting

Desirable Skills



Good attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Computer literate

This role is reporting to the Financial Controller

Working Hours



Working hours are Monday - Thursday 830am - 5pm, Friday 830am - 230pm

Location



The role is based at our Head Office in Ashington, Northumberland
