Role Overview:
As a Protection Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert advice on a comprehensive range of protection products tailored to meet each client's unique requirements. These products include mortgage protection, life cover, critical and serious illness cover, whole of life policies, over 50's plans, funeral plans, and income protection. You will conduct detailed fact-finding interviews to understand clients' circumstances, build strong relationships, and recommend appropriate protection solutions while maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance. This is a hybrid role and can be worked remotely within the UK for experienced advisers.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough fact-finding calls with clients to understand their protection needs and financial circumstances.
Provide expert advice on a range of protection products, tailored to meet each client's specific requirements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering exceptional service and support throughout the process.
Take full ownership of your client portfolio, including managing call backs, retentions, and addressing potential cancellations.
Complete any remedial actions identified by compliance in a timely and thorough manner.
Strictly adhere to all company processes and compliance requirements to ensure best practice is maintained.
Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations.
Proactively follow up with prospects and manage your pipeline effectively.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail during all interactions with clients.
Keep up-to-date with protection products, industry changes, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Requirements:
Proven experience as a fully advised, whole of market Protection Specialist.
RO5 qualification is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess client needs accurately.
Self-motivated with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What's on Offer:
Base Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum (can rise to 40,000 at senior level)
On-Target Earnings: Potential to exceed 50,000+ with uncapped commission
Work/Life Balance: Flexible home-based working for experienced advisers with no weekends and an early finish on a Friday.
