This is a full-time role, working 40 hours a week on a hybrid basis in Falmouth, within our MSC-Marine Infrastructure Solution (MIS) team. You'll work closely with colleagues across technical, commercial, tax, legal, business development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment in Fugro's proposed solutions. Locally, you'll collaborate with operational and project delivery teams in our hub offices to create proposals that are safe, profitable, and effectively mitigate risks. Your Role and Responsibilities:
Lead proposal coordination: Review Invitations to Tender, check technical and commercial requirements, and raise any issues to management.
Prepare bid/no bid analysis: Complete tender signoffs with senior management.
Ensure high-quality proposals: Meet Fugro's and the prospective client's expectations, delivering top-notch written and commercial work within defined timeframes.
Evaluate risks: Ensure technical and commercial risks are accepted, managed, priced, or transferred appropriately.
Negotiate with clients: Secure contract awards, ensuring solutions are safe, profitable, and risks are mitigated.
Handover packages: Prepare and present technical and commercial tender handover packages to project managers for Kick-Off meetings, adhering to the Fugro PM Handbook and MSC systems.
What You'll Need to Thrive in This Role:
Educational background: Degree in geotechnical, civil engineering, earth science, or a related field.
Technical expertise: Strong background in civils foundation, nearshore/onshore construction, and groundwork.
Experience: Proven experience in technical, project management, commercial, or sales roles.
Communication skills: Excellent in English, both written and verbal.
Sales abilities: Persuasive and professional client-facing skills, with a knack for building relationships.
Presentation skills: Outstanding ability to convey ideas effectively.
