As a distinguished law firm, highly regarded and recognised in the Legal 500, we are currently seeking a proficient Legal Secretary to join the growing Property Litigation team.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide administrative and drafting assistance.
- Ensure lawyers can dedicate time to legal matters while maintaining excellent client service.
- Offer opportunities to undertake supervised junior-level fee earning tasks.
- Manage file opening and invoicing procedures.
- Handle correspondence via phone, mail, fax, and email.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant software.
- Manage schedules and arrange appointments.
- Draft and prepare necessary documents.
- Promptly address client queries and concerns.
- Assist in conducting research.
- Support Fee Earners with caseload and take on supervised junior-level fee earning tasks.
- Perform filing duties and general clerical tasks.
We're looking for a candidate with a blend of IT proficiency and superb typing skills, showcasing exceptional administrative and organisational talents, keen attention to detail, and adept communication abilities, including a polished telephone manner. They should inherently be collaborative, able to work autonomously and flourish in a dynamic, forward-thinking work environment. Prior experience as a Legal Assistant/Secretary, with experience in Litigation, is strongly desired for the role.
