As a Group we have been dealing with Property Management (both UK commercial and residential properties as well as Dubai Properties) and IT Services (Internet Services and Phone Services) for over 30 years. Our Company which we are recruiting for, which is part of a group of Companies (Find UK Property, Rent UK Property & Sell UK Property), have been operating for just over 10 years now.

What We Do


We offer a fully client based serviced approach to investing in properties. We acquire properties from the open market, renovate them to a set standard and specification, pass them onto our lettings department for maintenance and management and we resell to investors

We have our Property Surveying Department, Renovations Department, Lettings & Maintenance Department, Legal Department and relevant Sales & Marketing Departments etc. We do everything in-company. We are expanding and are looking for new recruits - we have recently moved to a brand new fully refurbished larger office as a result of this expansion.

Due to our success, we have recently been featured on the popular BBC TV Show Homes Under the Hammer numerous times The BBC really liked our model and featured Our Company in TWO further episodes!

Summary



We are currently looking for an Inspector to join our team at UK PG. This role is vital in ensuring that our properties meet high standards of quality and safety. The Inspector will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional property management services.

The Role

Responsibilities



Conduct property inspections, primarily in vacant properties but also in tenanted properties as required. Open and inspect newly purchased properties, conducting initial assessments and preparing job sheets for contractors. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance work to ensure timely and cost-effective property readiness. Work closely with contractors to ensure work is completed to high standards and within budget. Deliver materials to sites when necessary. Conduct full property inspection reports with attention to detail. Understand and apply landlord and tenant liabilities and obligations in property management while doing tenanted property inspections. Handle meter readings and basic utility management. Perform admin tasks related to inspections, contractor coordination, and reporting. Use our internal property management software (training will be provided). Health and Safety spot checks Attending properties with escalated maintenance issues and manage tenant expectations.
Business Admin

Taking telephone messages for other areas of the Business at busy periods Filing and organisation of documents

Requirements



Key Skills Required



IT skills

- be able to effectively and confidently use Word/Excel/PowerPoint packages

Communication?skills

- be able to work with a diverse range of people professionally?and communicate verbally and in writing to an excellent standard with a high level of attention to detail

Organisational?skills

- be able to manage multiple tasks, track tasks and deliver results in a timely manner

Site Experience

- Previous experience working on-site with contractors is essential.

Property Sector Knowledge

- Understanding of landlord-tenant obligations and liabilities.

Budget Management

- Ability to work within budgets and ensure cost-effective property maintenance.

Attention to Detail

- Ability to conduct thorough property inspections and create comprehensive reports.

Commercial Mindset

- Capable of making cost-effective and practical solutions to management.

Driving License

- Required to travel between properties and deliver materials when needed.
