Pay \xc2\xa311.51 per hour (\xc2\xa322,500 per annum, pro rata) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

This is a great opportunity for a Property Coordinator to join our team here in Buller Court Mental Health. As our housing and property expert, you\xe2\x80\x99ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you\xe2\x80\x99ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation.

We\xe2\x80\x99re easy to reach either by car or public transport as there is a bus stop right outside. Local shops are within walking distance, perfect for your break, and there is free on-site parking!

Typical day as a Property Coordinator

\xc2\xb7 Working with customers who have mental health issues; and secondary needs of substance misuse, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and autism.

\xc2\xb7 Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, you\xe2\x80\x99ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.

\xc2\xb7 Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.

\xc2\xb7 Where there is a need, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.

\xc2\xb7 Getting rooms ready for the next customers who need our help and for maximum occupancy, you\xe2\x80\x99ll turn around vacant or void properties within set timescales.

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

You bring

\xc2\xb7 Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties

\xc2\xb7 Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.

\xc2\xb7 Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues

\xc2\xb7 The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.

\xc2\xb7 A \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d positive attitude, you\xe2\x80\x99re proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative.

\xc2\xb7 Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

Job details

\xc2\xb7 We\xe2\x80\x99re open to agreeing a work pattern with you; but we envision someone working Monday to Friday. This can include some working from home too.

\xc2\xb7 You would manage your own diary

\xc2\xb7 Based at our service in Farnborough but you won\xe2\x80\x99t need to do lots of travel; all our properties are on the same site as our office!

\xc2\xb7 Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups,

\xc2\xb7 You\xe2\x80\x99ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
