If you agree, then we\'d love to hear from you.We have an exciting opportunity for a promotions operations and email specialist to join our Ecommerce Trading team. The main purpose of the role is to manage, plan, develop and execute promotional offers and set up, track and evaluate emails using the relevant tools and systems.Reporting into the Senior Trading Manager (Routledge) you will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to manage, execute, and analyse promotional campaigns, discount strategies and ecommerce emails. You will also advise stakeholders on their discounting strategy, using data to recommend the optimal promo mechanic for the market\'s business objective, and providing hands-on execution support to launch.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced channel manager and/or operations specialist with a team player mindset to support Routledge in the next stage of growth.This role is open to candidates based in the UK. You must have the right to live and work in the UK.This role will be worked predominantly from home with occasional attendance at our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire.Closing date for applications: Friday 17th May 2024.   • Build, test and launch promotions and discounts using the relevant tools and systems, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Use data to analyse the effectiveness of different offer types/discount depth and mechanics providing visibility and transparency on how discounts are being used and the impact they are driving.
  • Build, test and send emails. Analyse the performance of emails and make recommendations of how performance can be improved based on the data.
  • Recommended and set up A/B tests for discount activities (via Uniqodo) and emails.
  • Manage the governance processes and have a tighter oversight on discount strategies across the business. Amend and adapt the process as required.
  • Manage relationship with external agency and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on promotional and discount strategies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders on the performance of Ecommerce emails.
  • Address and resolve issues identified by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the wider Merchandising team on day-to-day tasks and larger projects.
  • Provide competitor analyses and insights to help the business understand the market landscape and gaps to competition.
  • Get involved with different projects as and when is necessary to help drive business growth.
QualificationsWhat we\'re looking for:
  • Previous experience in an Ecommerce, channel management or operations role.
  • Confident with analytics tools and a strong understanding of tracking and conversion optimisation.
  • An analytical approach to reporting on results so that plans and tactics can be developed and improved.
  • Data driven.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to provide clear guidance and support to others so best practice can be easily understood and achieved and to collaborate confidently with a range of internal stakeholders.
  • A track record of working both in autonomously and in a team and removing obstacles that prevent progress being made towards objectives.
  • The flexibility to work in new areas and develop new skills to support business growth.
  • Excellent time management skills and experience of working to deadlines.
