Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities? KDC North West is looking for a dedicated and organised Project Worker to provide essential support to the team.
Key Tasks:
Provide administrative support and manage enquiries.
Organise internal and external meetings and events.
Offer telephone support to clients with disabilities, maintaining confidentiality.
Assist with learner enrolment and progress assessment.
Prepare reports and updates for grant funders.
Essential Criteria:
Communication Skills
:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills using a range of tools (e.g. phone, email, face-to-face).
A good listener, approachable, empathetic and able to communicate with a wide range of age groups.

Experience
:
Experience supporting people and/or families in difficult/complex circumstances.
Experience of supporting distinct projects to successful outcomes.
Experience in providing project administration with an understanding of funder requirements pertaining to monitoring and outcomes reporting.

IT Skills:
Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Confident user of social media and digital platforms.

Excellent organisation, administration, and time-management skills.
Knowledge
:
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
Understanding of Safeguarding.
Qualifications
:
GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
Other Requirements:
Car owner with clean driving license and appropriate level of insurance cover.
Willingness to work flexibly according to the needs of the projects.
Kind, non-judgmental and patient attitude with enthusiasm for helping people improve skills, improve their situation and achieve independence.
A commitment to continuing professional development, including a willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills in main enquiry areas
