About Us:

Proactive Group is expanding it's Construction division, with over 8+ years in Soft FM & Hard FM, projects across residential, and commercial sectors. We're looking for an experienced and motivated

Project Manager / Site Manager

to help deliver high-quality residential construction projects, (Commercial Fit Out experience would be a bonus) as part of our growing team. We currently have a number of extensions and residential projects that we are starting work on so this is an immediate hire.

The Role:

As a Project Manager / Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the mobilisation, delivery, and handover of projects, ensuring works are completed

safely, on time, and within budget

. You will manage subcontractors, materials, compliance, and client relationships while maintaining site operations to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site activities, labour, and subcontractors. Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and budgets. Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and ensure health & safety compliance (H&S/CDM). Coordinate with clients, surveyors, and consultants. Maintain site documentation, variation orders, and reporting. Ensure smooth project close-out including snagging, O&M manuals, and client handover.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 5+ years of construction site management or project management experience

Strong knowledge of site processes, health & safety, and project coordination. Ability to read drawings, scopes of work, and schedules. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence.

Essential Certifications:

SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme). CSCS Manager/Professional Card (or equivalent). First Aid at Work (preferred).
