Our focus is to capture opportunities and deliver our Investment Plan, reaching across departments to build capability and capacity \xe2\x80\x93 that is where we need you. The investment plan is complex and challenging but underpins our future growth.

You will be working in a collaborative multi-discipline team put together specifically for the purpose of navigating local, regional and national policy, shaping and delivering all facets of our Investment Plan and understand and pursue Capital and Revenue Investment opportunities \xe2\x80\x93 all these elements have never been more important if we are to meet our commitment to ensuring that all our residents, communities and businesses in Doncaster reach their full potential.

This work has been driven by an increasingly strong corporate centre that has adopted a challenging agenda to transform the borough in partnership with key agencies and other major players. The expertise we are looking for will eventually span 33 posts across programme management; asset management, delivering major projects and masterplans, employment support, balanced with specialisms in finance, legal and procurement.

This new programme of capacity expansion and enhancement is vitally important and a significant tool to drive place-based investment, growth and jobs in Doncaster totalling more than \xc2\xa3100m of public money.

The City of Doncaster Major Projects Team has a proven record of delivery for Major Projects across the Borough ranging from new roads that have unlocked investment opportunities and creation of jobs to the new Danum Library and Museum which has retained the heritage of the former Girls High School within a contemporary space in a modern building. We are currently delivering the next tranche of projects through Towns Deals and Levelling Up Funding but we are now looking to develop the next round of schemes.

We are seeking to recruit 2 Project Managers who will help to develop future major regeneration projects across Doncaster covering economic, educational, recreational, leisure, energy and transport uses. Working within the team you will take the lead and support the wider team on a variety of potential projects.

You will be a motivated and resilient team player who will be required to undertake a wide range of complex project activity in relation to the delivery of major projects, including preparing project plans, project briefs, design / development briefs, funding bids and project appraisals.
