Job Description

The role

To project manage the overall design, development, build and testing of assigned projects to ensure that the Company meets project and development requirements and commitments in a profitable and technically successful manner to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s and the Client\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction. These projects will predominantly comprise those for external Clients, though some will include those for general development for future projects.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and wider operational engineering and project management teams as well as MAI business line staff to support new and existing Metocean systems projects for Fugro, in line with business line and country goals to meet contractual commitments with both internal and external clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a project team and achieve optimal balance between cost, time, quality, benefit and minimise risk on projects by ensuring both effective and efficient execution of the project in such a way that the QHSSE, technical, commercial and contractual requirements are met. You may support more complex projects by leading a work package. Key contacts & relationships include Project Delivery Manager, Project Directors and Senior Project Managers and Client Project Management Teams. You will lead project teams and work collaboratively across multiple service lines and business units. You will mentor and support more junior members of the team. You will be guided by Project Directors, Senior Project Managers and Project Delivery Manager. You will also apply knowledge of professional principles and practices. You will be working toward or have attained a professional qualification and accreditation in Project Management.
