Project Manager - Rail Buildings & Civils

Location:

Salary / Benefits:

\xc2\xa355,000 - \xc2\xa370,000 per annum negotiable dependant on experience plus car allowance and package.

Summary

A successful rail contractor that offers construction, building, cabling and electrical services to both heavy and light rail networks is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to make works on various Network rail projects accross the North West

To be suitable for the position you must have:

• Minimum of 5 years railway experience on building and civils projects
• Experience working on station upgrades / refurbishments, office buildings, warehouse
• facilities, reactive and planned building maintenance,
• PTS, Emergency First Aid (preferable but not essential)
• A good understanding of Network Rail processes
• Preferably SMSTS, COSS
• An up-to-date PTS
• SMSTS

Desirable but not essential

• Experience carrying out CRE duties in line with NR/L2/INI/02009/F0040

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of secured works from award to completion.
• Determining the labour, plant, sub-contract and material resources required to deliver works within the agreed budget.
• Ensuring that the delivery of secured works complies with the company IMS, all client requirements and all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental legislation and standards.
• Ensure the prompt reporting of any Accidents, Incidents, Near Misses or Close Calls
• Responsible for management and coordination of all On Track Plant activities, including involvement in pre-planning, site visits and appointment of competent POS Rep.
• Responsible for managing all Safe Work Pack planning and rail planning
• Check that the actual works required corresponds with the works tendered
