Job Description

Project Manager PMO required for a leading organisation based in Tamworth. The ideal candidate will have previous experience executing programmes / projects within an agile framework, delivering on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver projects that align with strategic priorities.
• Engage with programme / project sponsors, teams, and all stakeholders (and the wider business where required) to keep them appraised on progress, risks and issues and ensure they are dealt with appropriately in a timely manner; on the programmes / projects assigned.
• Manage risks associated with programmes/projects by raising and escalating via the appropriate channels as set out in the PMO and Governance Frameworks.
• Report on the progress and status of all assigned programmes/projects at the PMO Team Meeting, Stand-Ups, and by updating Project Plans and Highlight Reports.
• Define and promote the use of effective repeatable programme and project management processes, tools, and documentation with a cross functional approach in mind.
• Champion the use and awareness of the Operating System in the delivery of all projects.
• Provide training around project management methodologies and standards to PMO colleagues and the wider business.
• Create, maintain, and use consistent documentation and templates.

Key Skills required:

• Use repeatable processes to deliver programmes/projects linked to strategic priorities.
• Deliver assigned programmes / projects according to Scope, within the specified timelines and to budget. Understand and effectively manage resource and risks on all programmes/projects, using the agreed tools and escalation path.

Salary

The salary for this permanent position is up to \xc2\xa345,000 per annum. The organisation has an excellent benefits package and offers flexible working opportunities for the right candidate.
