Working closely with our customers and the Customer Owner (CO), the Project Manager will plan and deliver projects of a complex nature to agreed time, cost and quality standards within our agile methodology. You will be an excellent communicator, have strong customer orientation and be experienced in leading geographically dispersed cross functional project teams.

Excellent communication skills together with superior negotiation skills, honesty, transparency, and approachability are key for the role. We are looking for someone proactive who is comfortable owning and driving ownership.

Location:

Dublin (Hybrid model) - with travel to customer locations



Key Responsibilities:

Producing project plans to track milestones and manage changes to the plan. Work with the customer team and with the customer leadership team to create accurate Roadmaps and Business cases (BC). Working with the Scrum master and the delivery team, effectively manage projects and deliver to agreed plans and budget, in accordance with BCs. Proactively manage change and scope creep with customers and other stakeholders, minimising and avoiding where possible. Reporting on weekly/monthly budget and resource utilization against targets. Interact and build consensus with customer(s) and all stakeholders. Present on weekly basis status of the project to customer and internal DLX stakeholders. Working with the Scrum master and the delivery team, actively manage Risks & Issues, taking appropriate corrective action as required.


Proven Competences and Skills:

3+ years project manager experience leading complex software development deliveries. Advanced user of MS Project. Proven ability to operate within a multi-locational delivery team environment with both onsite and remote engagement. Ability to communicate and present to all levels of organization both internally and externally. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to represent the company in a client facing role. Understanding of branching strategy, semantic versioning, sprint planning, dependency management, different test activities and release tracking. Problem solver and decision maker. Strategic thinker encompassing the 'customer is king' ethos whilst ensuring company objectives are always met.


Desirable Skills:

Experience working with demanding customers. Experience working on-site with a customer. Prior working experience with airlines would be an advantage.
