Due to project growth the position of Project Manager has become available to join our Cadent Framework, based in the East of England

Cadent is the UK\'s largest Gas Distribution Company, operating 4 of the 8 UK Gas Distribution Networks (East of England, London, North West and West Midlands). Their service spans over 131,000 kilometres of pipes supplying to 11 million homes & businesses.

Costain is the preferred bidder for the East of England Construction Management organisation (CMO). Central to Costain\'s role will be the strategic planning and programme management of Cadent\'s capital investment programme, with a focus on delivering improved regulatory performance and future proofing the network for the benefit of Cadent\'s customers.

The role will be site base

Role Requirements

• SCO1,2 and 5 AE/CP essential.

• Experience in the management of infrastructure projects in urban environments.

• Manage project activities related to scope, schedule, finances, risks, quality, and resources within defined thresholds and tolerances. Escalate to the Area Manager where necessary.

• Ensure that the approach to Health & Safety and Wellbeing procedures are sufficient in that high standards are satisfied as a minimum.

• Engage with assigned stakeholders in accordance with overall communication Plan - design or construction - including permits, planning consents, street-works.

• Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive

• Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way

• Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
