As Project Manager, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation of capital work projects that contribute to Royal Greenwich's strategic objectives, including sustainability, connectivity, and public space enhancement.You'll manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality. The role involves close collaboration with internal services, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, including elected members and community groups.You will work closely with the Programme Delivery Manager and a team that includes two other Project Managers and a Project Support Officer. The role includes commissioning professional services, site supervision, risk management, business case development, performance reporting, and leading public and stakeholder engagement activities.This is a great opportunity to help shape Greenwich's transport infrastructure and public spaces while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering complex transport, highways, or public realm projects in either a local authority or public sector setting, or in collaboration with them.You will have a relevant technical qualification or equivalent professional experience, and strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2. You should be confident in managing budgets, project governance, procurement, risk, and stakeholder relationships.Your communication skills will be key to engaging partners, communities, and internal stakeholders.
