Can you be the driving force as our Construction Project Manager (No1) delivering our school project schemes. We currently have projects valued at 340 Million and 350 million in the Hayes and Harrow area, we need someone for our Hayes project. We require an experienced construction professional who is well versed in the delivery of a project from cradle to grave. With the capacity to work as No1 on the project.These projects will involve the demolition of existing buildings, refurbishment works and a new build, along the provision of temporary accommodation.Job Purpose & Scope:You will be solely responsible for the economic safe management of the site in respect of progress, workmanship, health, safety, environmental and quality standards by ensuring that adequate and proper labour, plant, materials and sub-contractor resources are available and adequately directed to meet the requirements of the contract.You will have skills and experience in the following::

• Degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Construction discipline
• Extensive experience working with a main contractor
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations
• Excellent Leadership and Financial Control skills
• Results oriented
• Thorough understanding of UK H&S construction laws
• Stress Management skills
• High levels of quality standards
• Keen attention to H&S matters
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Innovative and able to identify and implement new ways to do things to achieve better ways of working
• Proven technical knowledge and a profit minded ability

General Duties:To be solely responsible for the Project, health, safety and the environment, as contained within the Health and Safety Management System. Where unsure and assistance is required liaise with the appointed Health and Safety Advisor.To actively lead by example at all times ensuring that all working relationships with internal and external customers are consistent and to the highest standards.To ensure that the company gets the best out of its subcontractors and suppliers, by proper selection and management in conjunction with the project team.To work with the commercial and procurement teams to ensure proper protection of the company's financial and contractual position.To ensure that for all activities you are responsible for, all company process/standards laid down in the Business Quality Management System are adhered toTo manage all disciplines, i.e. Surveying, Design Management, Buying, Planning, Human Resources, Health, Safety and Environment, to provide effective management of the project.Why Bouygues UKDay in day out our teams deliver some of the most technically innovative and challenging projects across the UK and the world.
