Job Description


We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Manager with experience implementing document management and document scanning solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects related to document management, ensuring efficient and effective scanning, indexing, storage, and retrieval of documents. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project success, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results. This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, along with a strong understanding of document management / Scanning technology best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor document management projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, including document management needs, scanning specifications, and indexing criteria.
  • Develop project plans, including resource allocation, task assignments, and milestones, and ensure timely and accurate execution of project activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to establish project goals, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Oversee document scanning operations, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of scanning processes and equipment.
  • Implement and maintain document management systems, including storage, indexing, version control, and access permissions.
  • Train and support end-users on document management systems and procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with document management policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and address project risks, issues, and constraints, proactively taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Evaluate project performance, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in document management and scanning technologies, recommending improvements and efficiencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus on document management and scanning projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of document management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Familiarity with document scanning equipment, software, and imaging technologies.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
** This is an inside IR35 contract role ** 6 months+ with the longer-term potential of transferring to a permanent post.

100% Remote position.
