The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities across the full contract or work package life cycle. You'll ensure all aspects are delivered in line with project schedules and within defined safety, quality, time, and cost parameters. Reporting to a Lead Project Manager, you'll drive successful planning and execution while maintaining strong oversight and direction throughout the equipment programme.

What you'll be doing
You'll support the Lead Project Manager in planning and delivering project activities, making sure everything aligns with the overall programme goals. This includes helping to create clear strategies, keeping schedules on track, and ensuring that work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You'll work closely with other teams to share knowledge, learn from experience, and apply best practices. Strong communication with stakeholders is key, as well as making sure all contract requirements are met and lessons learned are built into future work.
Who you are
You'll have strong leadership and decision-making skills, especially in complex and regulated project environments. You'll bring hands-on experience in managing engineering design, construction activities, and procurement strategies across multi-discipline EPCM projects. Familiarity with NEC and FIDIC contracts, and the ability to handle commercial claims and negotiations are key.
You'll have excellent analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills, with a solid understanding of cost control, scheduling and risk management. You'll be confident using project planning software and able to estimate, plan, and track progress effectively. Strong presentation and influencing skills are essential, along with a good grasp of nuclear quality standards and how they're applied and maintained.
We're looking for someone with a proven track record of engaging a wide range of stakeholders--contractors, consultants, and advisors--within regulated sectors. A degree in engineering, construction, or a related field, along with a project management qualification such as APM, PMQ is desirable. More important is your ability to lead teams, manage complex contracts, and ensure successful project delivery from start to finish.
