Project Engineer - Global Railway Infrastructure



Drive Technical Delivery in Worldwide Railway Projects!



This role offers a diverse range of challenges and opportunities across various international projects. Join our international team as a Project Engineer and drive the technical success of global railway maintenance projects & equipment. You'll be key in delivering critical infrastructure, applying best practices and management principles within a supportive, small team reporting to the Senior Engineer. This role blends technical expertise with project ownership, including strategic technical procurement.

The Opportunity:



As a Project Engineer, you'll technically support the execution of our global railway projects, from specification to delivery. This includes ensuring compliance, managing project outcomes, overseeing equipment functionality, and strategically sourcing technical equipment.

Your Responsibilities:



Technical Project Management:

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle, from producing detailed documentation through to overseeing critical Factory and Site Acceptance Testing. You will also be responsible for the successful installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of equipment, ensuring all activities meet required technical standards and any issues are effectively resolved.

Strategic Technical Procurement:

Identify, evaluate, and source equipment. Manage vendors and ensure cost-effective, quality procurement.

Global Collaboration:

Work with international teams and stakeholders. Travel for site work and acceptance.

Best Practice Delivery:

Apply sound management principles to meet client and company requirements.

What You'll Bring:



Strong technical background (Automation/Electrical or Machine Design preferred but all backgrounds considered)

Experience in technical project management and communication (desirable).

Familiarity with railway depot/maintenance equipment (Very highly desirable).

Flexibility to adapt to business requirements.

Excellent problem-solving, common sense, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse settings.

Willingness for international travel.

Qualifications:



We value relevant technical understanding and experience.

Right to Work in UK. (a similar role is open for our Thailand office)

Good Written English language.
