We are seeking to appoint two Project Coordinators to join the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health\'s team here at The Nuffield Department of Medicine.
We wish to recruit two Project Coordinators to engage with the various research groups and to work with them to encourage the sharing and reporting of methods, tools and resources across the specific topic, network or programme.
This role will be critical to the success of these hubs and their community and will provide you with the opportunity to partner with study teams, leading research institutions in Latin America, Africa and Asia (as Fiocruz, Africa CDC, and icddr,b) as well as The Global Health Network team (based in Oxford) and our key funders and collaborators on the design, planning and oversight of these activities.
You will be responsible to support the partner orgianisation team and our regional and global colleagues in developing and using systems, processes and frameworks for reporting activities and tracking the impact of our work. You will also identify and implement new ideas/technologies for meeting the aims and objectives of the knowledge hubs in terms of sharing knowledge and building professional research communities. As project coordinator, you will develop strategies to engage research teams and institutions in the three regions, to support identification of new collaborators.
It is essential that you hold a Scientific degree or equivalent qualification with relevant experience. You will have experience in working in health research in any setting (clinical, laboratory or social science), together with the ability to use technology in professional networking and knowledge sharing and work independently and flexibly. You will also have the ability to work independently and flexibly with strong organisational abilities.
