A Headington based department are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the development and initiation of an international research project. The successful candidate will assist in managing the project's scientific and operational activities, working closely with a diverse team of global stakeholders. This role involves coordinating meetings, maintaining project documentation, managing risks, and assisting with project governance and funding proposals.

Duties:

Organise scientific and operational meetings, events, and workshops with international project stakeholders, supporting the project co-leads. Maintain records and minutes of meetings, tracking actions and ensuring follow-up on decisions. Develop and update project-related documentation, including project plans for each work package. Develop a communication strategy that accommodates different stakeholders and time zones, ensuring clear and effective engagement. Assist with drafting documentation for potential funders and help develop a governance structure, including terms of reference.

Selection Criteria:

A degree in life sciences or equivalent experience in medical research. Proven experience in project management, including planning and coordinating complex projects. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with individuals from diverse disciplines and cultures. Flexibility to attend early morning or late evening meetings across different time zones.
