We know people are central to building a better future, quicker, and we are seeking new talent to join our team in the Merseyside District.What youxe2x80x99ll be doingAs a Project Coordinator, you will support planning and delivery investment projects for Low Voltage, High Voltage and Extra High Voltage Circuit Modernisation schemes, a combination of both overhead and underground assets. With a budget of approximately xc2xa310 million per year as a team for this activity. Youxe2x80x99ll support the tracking & delivery of team targets and forecasting your programme throughout the year.The Project Coordinator will work closely with two Project Managers and a Senior Project Manager to oversee this portfolio of work. This role is based in the Merseyside Office in Liverpool City Centre and reports to Merseysidexe2x80x99s Senior Project Engineer.Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers and service partners to facilitate the delivery of works.
  • Support Project Managers on a variety of schemes with project design, planning, liaising with key stakeholders, ensuring materials/resources for works and project forecasting/milestones.
  • Prioritise tasks accordingly with project risk ensuring continuous program delivery, minimal delays and minimal commercial impacts.
  • Ensure optimal operational & commercial performance from external delivery partners.
  • Compose and distribute project/programme status reports.
  • Coordinate multiple planned delivery teams over a variety of sites/works each day.
  • Work towards a zero-accident culture and lead by example.
  • Help maintain a safe and secure network.
  • Work efficiently making decisions to control project costs whilst delivering outputs.
  • Capture and track improvements for delivery and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

  • Technical, analytical or planning experience in a relevant role.
  • Effective at scheduling, planning, designing or delivering projects.
  • Awareness and/or appreciation of project management principles.
  • Strong communicator and adept in managing competing priorities/tasks.
  • Enthusiastic and flexible individual who is self-motivated with the drive to succeed.
  • An understanding of the distribution network/system (preferred), but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate and present information effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to deliver objectives without compromising on safety, quality, or customer service.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate as a minimum:
  • Relevant network construction, data analyses or operational experience
  • Computer literacy
