JOB TITLE: Assistant Project Co-ordinator

The ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Assistant Project Co-ordinator to build your career within our team based in the Peterborough Office (although they encourage hybrid working) for this well established consultancy, The successful Assistant Project Co-ordinator candidate will be required to assist with managing the design process for a wide variety of highway, railway, bridge and buildings projects from planning application through to project completion. The minutia of the role includes;
- Control the design process, from planning application through to project completion
- Help manage the design team workloads ages
- Manage project timelines etc.
- Track project deliverables
- Input into the maintenance of design programmes/schedules
- Help define project scope and assist in production of tender documentation

The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate possessing the desire to further develop their career within a Civil/Structural Engineering practice. The right person will have the following experience:
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary engineering project teams
- Good civil engineering understanding
- Understanding of project phases from "Project Definition" to "Project Handover"
- Knowledge of health & safety and CDM regulations
- Engineering / construction industry experience
- Ability to organise, plan, programme and manage workloads
- Commercial awareness of project change
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
