Job Description

Our client is a fast moving, agile global technology business who specialise in taking brands direct to consumers. This role would see you work for their side of the business that functions like a developer/manufacturer. The Role
The position will see you work with the Group Project Director and work with the PMO Projects Team, leading the project controls function ensuring both cost and planning controls are managed and developed over time. You will be delivering multi-discipline projects across an extensive portfolio and be responsible for cost engineering, planning and associated governance covering major projects, engineering and manufacturing projects. The portfolio is in excess of \xc2\xa3100m pa of capital investment projects ranging across 20-30 projects.
Duties
Preparation of monthly cost reports and project specific health checks for the Project Director
Assist the PM\xe2\x80\x99s in the production and update of cashflow, expenditure forecasts and estimates on completion.
Validate the variances across the portfolio in relation to planned and actual accruals, providing health warnings to PM\xe2\x80\x99s.
Cost monitoring and reporting of sub consultant invoices and advising PM\xe2\x80\x99s of payments.
Undertake SPI audits and manage the portfolio of schedules.
Weekly updates to programmes and rports including milestones and cost variation updates.
Mentor other members within the department to grow the function.
Qualifications
+3 years experince of cost engineering and planning across multi-disciplinary projects (building and civils)
Professional membership such as APM/PCI
Good knowledge of Microsoft Products such as ASTA Powerprojects.
Knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contracts
Relevant project management or project controls qualification
