This new part-time post (0.4-0.6 FTE) is available from August 1, 2023 (negotiable) on a fixed term basis until June 30, 2025 (with the possibility of extension).

We welcome applications from candidates interested in working part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working \xe2\x80\x93 some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

We are looking for a part-time Project Administrator to support the research of Prof Oliver Hauser, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School. Prof Hauser is the Principal Investigator of an ambitious, multi-year project with the goal of identifying and reducing gender, ethnic and other inequalities in UK and international organisations, funded by the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship (FLF).

You will play an important role in shaping and supporting this exciting research project. S/he will support Prof Hauser and his research team with project organisation, documentation and annual monitoring exercises; expense accounting for travel (e.g. reimbursements); and planning and implementation of small/medium-sized virtual and in-person events, all in relation to Prof Hauser\xe2\x80\x99s grant and department-related duties.

While previous experience working with research finance (especially T1) and/or grant project administration is desirable, there is no requirement for such pre-requisites. Instead, we are looking for someone highly motivated and willing to learn new skills to join our team.
