Job Title: Project Accountant

Location: Glascoed, South Wales

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Deliver accurate and consistent project reporting information to meet the needs of the project team and finance management

\xc2\xb7 Monitor and forecast financial and cash performance, providing independent and robust financial challenge.

\xc2\xb7 Supporting annual Integrated Business Planning process (IBP).

\xc2\xb7 Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers, including internal and external audit

\xc2\xb7 Reconcile the financial reports to the source ledgers to ensure integrity of the data provided.

\xc2\xb7 Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations

\xc2\xb7 Adhering to and supporting all Financial Governance, Audits, Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and wider BAE Systems processes.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Packages including Excel

\xc2\xb7 Prior experience in consolidating financial information into management reports

\xc2\xb7 Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant or individual qualified by experience, and will typically have a degree.

Desirable:

\xc2\xb7 Experience using SAP would be beneficial

As a Project Accountant, you will deliver an independent review of the cost and performance of the project or group of projects area, providing sound financial support and advice, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and evaluating processes to ensure that robust, relevant and adequate financial controls are in place.
