The Opportunity: My client are currently based in the healthcare sector are currently looking for a Programme Manager to be based in Cardiff to work on a digital transformation project that will see you play a key role in implementing an ambitious new digital strategy, which over the next five years, will implement a range of national digital solutions, while growing their capacity and capability to embrace innovative technologies. The successful individual will assist with will further enhancing their ability to realise there ambition, based on the fundamental principle that high quality healthcare in the 21st century can only be delivered by a radical step change in digital thinking. Skills and Experience:
Work with a wide range of stakeholders to develop and implement Digital Strategy. This will require extensive engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including clinicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals and health boards.
Understand the concept of project portfolio management, project lifecycles, risk and issues management and the use of project phases to ensure objectives are met.
Be responsible for leading the production of key project documentation including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), Project Briefs, Risk and Issue Logs and Delivery Plans
Develop, lead and manage the digital strategy for the Digital Projects of significant size, complexity and risk ensuring that they produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
Support the Head of Digital Programmes in the identification and management of inter project and programme dependencies
Identify and plan the scope and resource requirements of new digital projects
Lead the project teams so that the portfolio of projects has an acceptable balance of risk, benefit, pace and supports stakeholder priorities
Educated to masters\xe2\x80\x99 degree level or equivalent experience
Specialist project knowledge to post graduate level or equivalent experience (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner)
Formal programme management qualification (e.g. MSP or equivalent)
Substantial experience at a senior Project/Programme Management level
Expert knowledge and experience of managing several projects to support large, complex change programmes
Expert knowledge and experience of delivering digital projects in complex environments
Experience of applying MSP methodology
