Programme Leader / Lecturer In Games And Animation
Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Programme Leader in L3 Games & Animation. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts very high levels of learner success and achievement. The successful candidate may be required to teach across a range of programmes at levels 2 - 6, though the focus will be on the L3 provision.
As a Programme Leader, you will be responsible for the leadership and co-ordination of the L3 Games and Animation course within the School of Creative and Performing Arts
The successful candidate must:
Hold at least a degree level qualification in a relevant subject
Hold a management/supervisory qualification - desirable
Hold a relevant teaching qualification (or willing to achieve within a set time-period from appointment)
GCSE (A*-C) English & Maths
Have current up to date knowledge and relevant industrial experience
Have experience of teaching 3d software (Maya, Blender etc), and other related software, as relevant to the course.
Have experience teaching in Further and/or Higher Education - Young people (16-18), Adults or Higher Education students as appropriate
