Overview:

Sphere Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented window cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

This role involves cleaning windows for residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all glass surfaces are spotless and streak-free. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being outdoors, this position may be perfect.

We are looking for someone for approximately 3 days a week (roughly 8-hour days including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break). The hourly wage will be between 12.80 - 13.20 per hour. Whilst we cover all of southeast Kent, we mostly operate within the Thanet area. It would be ideal for the candidate to live within this area.

Expectations:

Clean windows using water-fed poles, various traditional tools and cleaning equipment to achieve a streak-free finish. Safely operate small ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as required to access high or difficult-to-reach windows. This will be very infrequent and full training will be provided. Report windows that are damaged or may require further attention. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all equipment is properly stored after use. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Follow health and safety regulations while performing duties to ensure personal safety and that of others.
The role may include other general cleaning tasks on occasion. These tasks include pressure washing, gutter clearing, and other general cleaning. The candidate's ability to carry out such tasks will present the opportunity to work more hours after passing their probationary period.

Requirements:

Previous experience in window cleaning or a related field is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided. Ability to work at heights safely and confidently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication skills, mainly verbally, to interact with clients effectively. A valid driver's license is advantageous for travelling between job sites. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting equipment and standing for extended periods.
