THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking for an experienced Groundcare Technician to add to our client\'s team in the Rotherham area.

As a GroundcareTechnician you will be required to:

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of Professional groundcare equipment
• Conduct pre-season and post-season inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical systems, and hydraulic components to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed on each piece of equipment.
• Assemble and prepare new and used machines ready for delivery
• Have an excellent knowledge of modern professional groundcare practices
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and consumables and assist with procurement as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with the Groundcare Manager to schedule maintenance tasks and prioritize repairs.
• Assist with general groundcare duties as required during peak seasons or special projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Groundcare Technician or similar role, with knowledge of various groundcare equipment and their maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, capable of diagnosing and resolving equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and hydraulic components found in groundcare machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines and project goals.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver\'s license.
