Job Summary

As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of drinks while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages, teas, and other refreshments to customers. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including workstations and customer seating. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and beverage service. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have. Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining quality service.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
