Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. As a Production Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal components to meet production specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Weld metal components using various welding techniques, including stick welding, to create durable products. Fabricate and assemble parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete welding tasks. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in welding techniques, particularly stick welding. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings. Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to welding tasks. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication. Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous. Ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
