Teledyne Impulse PDM, based in Alton, Hampshire, are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our busy Production team to provide a high level of production support across Moulding, Wiring, EMAT & Connector Moulding and support the timely output of production across a wide range of assemblies. require a Production Technician to assist in manufacturing our range of connectors, cable assemblies, harnesses and sensor range used in subsea and other harsh environments.
Any previous experience of soldering, injection moulding or electrical inspection would be an advantage, although not essential as full training will be provided to allow you to assist in building, wiring, moulding and testing our products using detailed drawings, written standards and safety documentation.

Position Summary and Responsibilities
Working through day to day tasks as established by the Production Supervisor of the working area, and in accordance with the production plan, on the wiring and assembly of production jobs.
Taking responsibility for completing set tasks to a high standard
Building all products to detailed drawings and build standards
Reporting any build issues to department supervisor.
Clocking time and reporting completed processes within operating system
Following all safety standards and documentation at all times
Using all equipment, tooling and machinery as per build standards and alongside on job training.
Carrying out daily and weekly PPE and equipment checks as required.
Testing all components and assemblies to standards, documentation and guidelines
Understanding of batch control

Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
Physically fit as some lifting required
Qualifications / Experience
An advantage but not essential as training provided
Experience of soldering (IPC-620) /electronics
Able to read and understand technical drawings
Experience of transfer presses.
Injection moulding
Weighing and mixing of materials
Understanding of ESD
