Job Description
You have the chance to join a successful, well-known, food manufacturer that are in need of a Production Team Leader to be based from their site in the Wolverhampton area. You will be supporting the Shift Manager in leading a team of up to 25 multi-skilled operatives, managing & driving key KPIs with a strong focus on Continuous Improvement, People Development & Safety.
The Production Team Leader will lead a team of up to 25 across a busy food manufacturing site, driving continuous improvement across their shift, as well as:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, motivate & empower team leaders & operatives within your team
- Work with the Shift Manager to ensure top quality products are being produced & to schedule
- Create & maintain a safe working environment on shift - adhering to company legislation
- Work cross-functionally, evaluating quality & implementing the required corrective actions to attain the product quality to customer standards
- Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, including general issues to root cause
- Support with New Product Development trials on the line
- Support in controlling the shift\'s costs by minimising spend and waste, driving cost saving ideas
Fast paced environment|Career Building Opportunity
An experienced Production Team Leader that has experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (ideally food/drinks/consumer durable). As well as:
- A formal Health & Safety qualification (IOSH)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to give meaningful reports and actions
