Packaging and international fulfilment is operating from a brand new warehouse/production hall, we currently operate 4 production lines running, it is a great time to join the production team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Supervising a Team working on the Packing Line and Packing Processes. Managing the production operatives on day-to-day activities such as task assignment, holiday approval, first line grievances, sickness etc. Conduct 1-2-1 meetings with direct reports 1st Stage Recruitment (interviewing). Ensure all team members have training plans and complete their competency sheets Train and coach team members on process and production equipment. Ensure up to date on all company SOP's and adhere to these, making sure the Production operatives are also complying. Completing Production paperwork and populating spreadsheets. Taking responsibility for Housekeeping and H&S oversight during their shift. Action of Batch documentation and completing purchase work orders on Netsuite Monitoring of production wastage and making recommendations to reduce this. Inventory adjustments on the system. Advise the Operations Supervisor on any machine maintenance or process that needs to be reviewed. Support the Operations Supervisor in Line maintenance and troubleshooting Any other Production task that is required by the Operations Supervisor

Experience/Skills Required

Work within a similar production role Familiar with the production environment e.g Clean room, PPE required 1+ years of working as a Production supervisor Ability to lead and work within a small growing team Pro active mind set-finding solutions to any problems that arise Proficient in online stock/ warehouse system Methodical approach Flexibly Ability to think fast on the spot - to deliver the results
