Salary: \xc2\xa330,000-\xc2\xa332,000 per annum DOE
Interaction Recruitment are seeking a quality-driven and time-served Production Supervisor to join their Steel Manufacturing and Engineering client based in Cullompton, Devon on a full-time, permanent basis.
As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of production operatives, ensuring the production schedule is achieved in a safe and timely manner which meets quality and on-time delivery requirements. The successful candidate will be able to also carry the responsibility for cost savings and lean manufacturing initiatives to maintain and further enhance the company\xe2\x80\x99s continuous improvement culture.
Main Accountabilities:
- Full accountability for the shift and ensuring safety and performance targets are achieved
- Lead and assist with continuous improvement projects and other similar activities
- Ensure all operators are maintaining output levels in line with targets and recording all major events such as downtime
- Prioritising individual and team workloads
- Supervising the operation of Rollform lines, Folding machines and Press Brake machines
- Utilising Lean Manufacturing tools such as KPIs and 5S.
