Job Description

Working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity, to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence.

Nature and Scope

Assembly of products in accordance with product build specifications; build up components and sub-assemblies into finished products.

Carry out basic testing and quality checks on product builds.

Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications.

Pack and label finished goods, with protective materials ready for shipment.

Operate production line equipment such as hand tools, soldering, etching machine etc.

Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work of various equipment including the potting machine. Report equipment faults to line manager.

Participation in the periodic stock takes.

Maintain a professional and tidy work environment.

Participation in the periodic stock takes.

Quality/Health and Safety

Work in accordance of company Quality and Health & Safety Policies and Procedures, report any issues to line manager.

Key accountabilities

Complete production builds within the specified timeframe and required standard. Maintain communication & flexibility. Work in accordance to the company handbook.

Required skills and qualifications

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Strong team player.

Solid level of Education.

Manual Handling knowledge.

Desirable skills and qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing/production environment.

Understanding of hand tools.

Soldering experience.
