We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable

Production Operative / Relief Spiral Operator

to join our day shift team at our Trafford Park site in Manchester. If you're a team player who values quality and safety, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside your team leader (or designated person) to complete pre-use inspections and necessary documentation for all production and warehouse equipment.
Operate sheet metal working machinery safely and efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
Ensure products meet consistent quality standards and report any defects promptly.
Always use machinery safety guards, warehouse barriers, and adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Complete production and warehouse documentation accurately and on time.
Produce high-quality spirally wound tube using our Spiral Forming machine, ensuring tight lockseams, safe handling, and compliance with specifications.
To be confident and flexible working on a rotation with the machines on the shop floor

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience working in engineering, operating machinery, if not manufacturing
Experience working to targets

Preferred Skills:

* Previous experience on Counterbalance forklift machine
