Vickerstock are delighted to be working exclusively with our renowned Food Manufacturing/FMCG client on the appointment of Food Production Operator for their state-of-the-art facility based in Carrickfergus.As the successful candidate you will be joining a business known throughout Northern Ireland for their products and how well they look after their staff.What's in it for you?
- Highly competitive salary xc2xa311.87 per hour (+ bonus)
- Excellent bonus earning potential, and overtime
- 3/4 or 5day week/flexible across Monday - Friday; core hours 8am to 4pm
- Free on-site parking
- Work across multiple functions as part of a small dynamic team.
- Efficiently and effectively produce a variety of award-winning products to a high standard, where quality and attention to detail is paramount.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for food safety and health & safety within areas of work incl. end of shift clean down
- Prep and weigh out ingredients.
- Set up and operate machinery; ensure parts are cleaned and maintained free from damage
- Package finished products according to company standards.
- Experience operating within a factory environment.
- Good standard of numeracy + literacy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exemplary time keeping and attendance record.
