Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform MMA welding tasks with precision and expertise. Operate and maintain various workshop tools, including hand tools, electric tools, and air tools. Use drilling equipment efficiently to complete assigned tasks. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, utilising measuring equipment accurately. Collaborate effectively within a small team environment, working with materials such as metal, GRP, and carbon fibre. Work safely at heights and use ladders in compliance with safety protocols. Handle basic lifting equipment and perform related tasks safely. Maintain the work environment to the agreed standard in line with Health and Safety regulations. Be prepared to learn new skills and procedures as new projects are introduced to Production.

Qualifications

Proven experience within similar role Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues. Proven experience within similar role Good concentration levels and attention to detail. Ability to carry out repetitive tasks methodically. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately keep records. A safety-conscious approach to work. Must be reliable, with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Continuous Improvement, zero defect and customer focused mindset. Able to stay away from home and work at customer locations on a flexible basis, if required. Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
