About You
Do you want to be part of a close-knit, high performing team? Do you enjoy a team environment where people can really rely on each other, and where you have the opportunity to progress and grow within the team? Are you methodical, thorough and care about attention to detail? If this sounds good, then we could be a great fit for you.
About the role
Our production teams are responsible for keeping the machines stocked and operating, working through regular process control checks to ensure everything flows seamlessly. Over recent years we have invested in upgrading the machinery on our production lines, and we pride ourselves on our production space being clean, safe and modern. We like to make sure that team members are trained on all of our different machines so that they can work with and support each other throughout their shift. The teams work closely with the technical team who look after machine maintenance and performance and with our warehouse and logistics teams who ensure the finished product reaches customers as required.
Health & Safety is hugely important to us, and good housekeeping is upheld by providing a safe working environment, ensuring the work area is clean and tidy while participating, embracing and continuously developing in order to help the business improve in line with the BRITA values.
This position is for a permanent early shift, which is 06:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday (40 hour working week).
We do operate a late and night shift, and if you have the flexibility to occasionally work one of those shifts that would be great, but it isn't required. (Working one of the other shifts would pay an premium on top of your normal pay.)
To be successful in this role
You will need to be motivated, reliable and methodical, comfortable in seeking out support when required and will be an inclusive team player. We believe wholeheartedly that we succeed as a team, so that team focus is hugely important to us, as is always thinking about ways we can do things better.
If you have experience in a production environment working with machinery that would be a great start, but it isn't required as we are happy to train you to work with our equipment. A basic level of computer literacy would also be helpful, but we will train you on the systems you need to work with.
This is a position that requires working with pallet trucks and some manual handling as well as being on your feet for the duration of your shift.
